The Exciting New Zealanders Are Coming To Town!

The New Zealand chorus, Vocal FX, and their quartet Musical Island Boys, will be visiting and staying with us from Tuesday, June 28 until Saturday, July 2. They have several coaching sessions arranged and will be at our rehearsal on Thursday, June 30. 12 chorus members and their families have opened their homes to host the group and show them around the St. Louis area.

Some may need assistance in taking the men around to their rehearsals, etc., so if anyone can volunteer any time to help drive them around please let me know.

AOH will have a party for Vocal FX on Friday night, July 1. It will be at the home of Roy and Carol Hillmann from 6:30 - 10:00 PM. All AOH members and their family are invited to get together with our New Zealand friends and wish them well at the Kansas City convention.

The chorus will provide the main dish, salad, and a cake for dessert. Tegan Rieser and the Ambassadors Circle will handle arrangements for the other dishes that we ask everyone to bring. Tegan will also have a sign-up list posted at rehearsal tomorrow night so that we can get a headcount of how many people to expect.

You can also email Teagan. I will ask for a show of hands tomorrow night at rehearsal just to get an idea of possible attendance at the party, but please be sure and sign up or email Tegan if you plan to attend.
